Every list like this is written by a company that appears on it, including this one.
So rather than ask you to trust the ranking, here are the six criteria we used, the weight on each, and where they place us. If you disagree with the weightings, the underlying data is all public – you can re-rank it yourself.
TL;DR: There are over 6,000 registered Salesforce consulting partners globally. The right one for you depends on project size, industry, and whether you need onshore, nearshore, or offshore delivery more than it depends on anyone’s ranking. Verify partner tier and certifications on AppExchange before you shortlist and ask the six technical-depth questions at the end of this page before you sign.

How We Ranked These Companies

Six weighted ranking criteria: verified partner tier 20 percent, certifications per consultant 20 percent, AppExchange rating and review volume 20 percent, delivery track record 15 percent, industry specialisation 15 percent, transparency 10 percent
Why certifications-per-consultant rather than total certifications?
- A firm advertising “200+ certifications” across 300 staff is thinner than one with 80 across 40 specialists. Total badge count rewards headcount, not depth. Ask for the ratio.
Why AppExchange data over awards?
- Salesforce publishes partner tier and review history and can’t be self-declared. Awards mostly can.
What we deliberately excluded: paid directory placements, unverifiable “clients served” numbers, and logo walls without matching case studies.

Onshore, Nearshore or Offshore?

This decision narrows the list faster than any ranking will.
Comparison of onshore delivery at 120 to 200 dollars per hour, nearshore at 45 to 85, and offshore at 25 to 55, with overlap hours and trade-offs for each
The honest version: offshore isn’t cheaper if you’re also expecting the offshore team to define the solution, manage the project, and catch their own mistakes. That’s an agency engagement priced as a staffing one, and it’s where most offshore disappointment comes from.
If you have an architect and an acceptance process in-house, offshore is efficient and you should use it. If you don’t, a blended model – onshore or nearshore architect, offshore build – is what most mid-market programmes settle on.

3. IBM
HQ: Global
Best for: Complex hybrid-cloud integration

How to Test Technical Depth Before You Sign
A shortlist is the easy part. These six questions separate firms that can deliver from firms that can sell.
Six questions to test technical depth: which items don’t need custom code, test coverage standard, code review evidence, release regression approach, architecture ownership, documentation deliverables
The first question does most of the work. Hand a partner your backlog and ask which items don’t need custom development. A firm that says all of them either hasn’t looked or is optimising for contract value. In the backlogs we review at DianApps, a substantial share of tickets labelled “development” turn out to be configuration.

How to Verify Any Company on This List
Don’t take our word for it, or anyone else’s:
- AppExchange partner listing – tier, certifications, reviews and review dates. Filter reviews by recency; a 2019 five-star review tells you about a team that may have entirely turned over.
- Trailblazer profiles – check the named individuals proposed for your project actually hold the certifications claimed.
- Clutch and G2 – useful for delivery and communication signals, less so for technical depth.
- References at your scale – ask for a client at comparable project size and industry, then ask them two questions: would you hire them again and what would you change.

Talk to Us – Even If You Shortlist Someone Else
We put ourselves at #7 because that’s where our own criteria placed us. Four firms on this list will beat us on enterprise scale, and several will beat us on specific verticals.
Where we’re worth a conversation: mobile-first Salesforce work, blended delivery with a named architect, and projects in the $25,000–$150,000 range where the Big Four aren’t interested and a two-person shop can’t cover the skill set.
We’re a certified Salesforce Consulting Partner with teams across the US, UK, Australia, Canada, UAE and India.
On a scoping call, we’ll tell you which parts of your backlog don’t need custom development – and if another firm on this list is the better fit, we’ll say so.
