DianApps Contribution in Building the CaratLane Project

DianApps played a pivotal role in enhancing the CaratLane Project by seamlessly integrating a new component into its Android architecture and transitioning fulfilment from Ruby on Rails to Nest JS technology. Providing expert guidance, DianApps improved platform usability and introduced innovative features such as SMS Retriever API, full-time development support, TAH (Try at home) module implementation, Cart & login revamp, Audit log, and Microservice inclusion. This collaborative effort elevated CaratLane's digital infrastructure, ensuring a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.

Solving the Challenges

Before

Absence of warehouse monitoring and analyzing orders while keeping track of delivery partners.

Involved many older APIs and a large set of customer information which the client was not ready to compromise.

Insufficient use of technologies that affected the management of a huge code-base and large user base.

CaratLane's legacy application was a monolithic application made in Ruby on Rails, which was difficult to manage.

After

DianApps set off a careful analysis strategy and integrated the “Delay Delivery Trigger” feature into the platform.

We integrated the new APIs and their components relevant to CaratLane without hampering the old customer flow and architecture of the app.

The team added cutting-edge technologies that address the needs of users and limit the code usage in the app.

We segregated the monolithic application into Nest.js microservices which successfully reduced the effort required to manage the application.
