Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, WordPress architecture, custom theme and plugin development, and front-end technologies. You should be passionate about writing clean, scalable code and delivering high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic WordPress websites, themes, and custom plugins.
• Build custom WordPress solutions based on business requirements while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Customize existing themes and plugins with clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Optimize website performance, speed, security, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues across different browsers and devices.
• Develop responsive, mobile-friendly, and cross-browser compatible web pages.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services when required.
• Manage and optimize MySQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Follow coding standards, version control practices, and software development lifecycle processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in PHP and WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Hands-on experience in custom theme and plugin development.
• Good understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, REST API, and Gutenberg.
• Experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and query performance.
• Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with website performance optimization, caching, and security best practices.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WooCommerce customization and development.
• Knowledge of page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
