Each year Apple Watch marks a new standard for what a smartwatch should be. And this continuous innovation is going to make the Apple Watch Series 8 the number-one-selling smartwatch in the world.

The Apple Watch Series 8 is beautifully designed and packed with the most advanced sensors and technology. Know about its features below:

  1. A big, brilliant, Always-On display with narrow borders that pushes the screen right to the edge.
  2. Detailed watch faces such as the new lunar, astronomy, metropolitan, and modular are just breathtaking.
  3. Series 8 integrates fall detection, emergency SOS, and medical ID alongside od best-in-class health sensors ECG making it the ultimate device for a healthy lifestyle.
  4. Another powerful feature of the Apple Watch Series 8 is its 2 new temperature sensors, one is located at the back of the watch while the other is located under the display. As per Apple experts, this dual-sensor design helps to reduce “bias from the outside environment.”
  5. In continuation of the new temperature sensor– the feature also gives power to women’s health via adding advanced retrospective cycle tracking that includes valuable insights about women’s overall lifestyle. This feature is designed to keep your data private and secure.
  6. The Apple Watch Series 8 will sample the wrist temperature during sleep every five seconds and measure changes as small as 0.1° C.

Utilizing the new temperature-sensing capabilities in Apple Watch Series 8, users can receive retrospective ovulation estimates. Knowing when ovulation has occurred can be helpful for family planning, and Apple Watch Series 8 makes it easy and convenient by providing these estimates in the Health app. Temperature sensing also enables improved period predictions.

Additionally, with iOS 16 and watchOS 9, all Cycle Tracking users can now receive a notification if their logged cycle history shows a possible deviation, such as irregular, infrequent, or prolonged periods, and persistent spotting, which can be symptoms of underlying health conditions.”

  1. The Apple Watch Series 8 also includes a new Crash Detection function. This function detects automobile accidents using “an improved sensor-fusion algorithm” and “a new, more powerful gyroscope and accelerometer.”
  2. If Apple Watch detects an automobile accident, it will contact the user and phone 911 if they are unresponsive after a 10-second countdown. The location of the user’s smartphone will then be sent to emergency services. This data is also sent to the user’s emergency contacts.
  3. Finally, the Apple Watch Series 8 includes a new Low Power Mode that can prolong battery life to up to 36 hours when linked with an iPhone. This feature disables or restricts some sensors and functions, including the Always-On Retina display, exercise autostart, heart health alerts, and more. Apple Watch Ultra

Over the years, Apple has majorly been focusing on acclaimed explorers, accomplished adventurers, and elite athletes who are drawn to some of the most extreme environments. This motivated Apple to set out a way to create Apple Watch specifically for exploration, adventure, and endurance.

The Apple Watch Ultra has a redesigned 49mm shell constructed from a more robust titanium composition than before. On the left, there’s a new Action button that can be customized to do things like start a workout, open an app or even execute a shortcut.

The maximum display brightness of the Apple Watch Ultra is 2000 nits, which is 2x brighter than any other Apple Watch. There are also three built-in microphones and innovative wind noise-reduction algorithms to increase sound quality.

The Apple Watch Ultra is packed with capabilities designed for extreme activities. A dual-frequency GPS with updated location algorithms provides the most accurate GPS of any Apple Watch to date. This gives users more precise information for things like distance, pace, and route data.

Let’s see what’s in the new Apple Watch Ultra.

  1. In watchOS 9, the entirely revamped Compass app displays more detailed information and three separate viewpoints.
  2. Waypoints in the Compass app are a quick and easy method to mark a place or point of interest.
  3. Backtrack uses GPS data to generate a route that shows where the user has been, which is essential if they become disoriented or lost and require assistance retracing their steps.
  4. An embedded 86-decibel siren is meant for emergencies and can assist in bringing attention to a spot if users become lost or wounded.
  5. Apple Watch Ultra includes a Depth app that displays time, current depth, water temperature, duration underwater, and maximum depth reached using a new depth gauge.

The Apple Watch Ultra offers the longest battery life of any Apple Watch, lasting up to 36 hours in regular use and up to 60 hours in low-power mode.

The Apple Watch Ultra is now available for $799, and the first orders will be delivered on September 23.

AirPod Pro 2

Just like Apple Watch, AirPods have become essential for many people. Whether listening to music on a run or watching your favorite tv shows, AirPods work seamlessly with Apple Watch and iPhone while also providing incredible audio and cinematic experience.

AirPods are now the most popular model featuring exceptional Active Noise Cancellation and unrivaled sound quality. Here’s what this next generation of AirPods Pro has for Apple users.

  1. The design of the AirPods Pro 2 stays identical, with the same in-ear form factor as previously. However, you will receive a replacement extra tiny ear tip size in the box.
  2. The AirPods Pro 2 is powered by Apple’s new H2 audio chip, which delivers several improvements over the H1 chip that was launched in 2019.
  3. According to Apple, the AirPods Pro 2 will suppress up to twice as much noise as the previous iteration. A new low-distortion audio driver and bespoke amplifier are also included for a deeper base and crisper music.
  4. Apple’s Transparency mode is being expanded with a new Adaptive Transparency feature. This function works by reducing strong ambient noises such as a passing car siren, construction tools, or even loudspeakers at a concert utilizing on-device processing.
  5. Apple has added a capacitive layer of controls to the AirPods Pro stem. These controls enable you to swiftly modify volume levels by swiping up or down. You also get the same force touch sensor as previously for functions like play and pause.
  6. AirPods Pro provides 1.5 hours more listening time than the original, for a total of up to six hours. With the charging case, you may travel for up to 30 hours.
  7. The charging case now has a “Find My” with accuracy tracking, embedded speakers for pinging it if you misplace it, and wrist strap connections. It may now be charged via the Apple Watch charging puck as well.

On Friday, September 9, the AirPods Pro 2 will be available for purchase. The price remains fixed at $249. The first orders will be delivered on September 16.

iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Plus

Apple has constantly challenged itself to raise the bar to make iPhones better and even more loved. And this time is no exception, we’re going to be noticing a much bigger iPhone 14 and an even bigger iPhone 14 Plus.

The inclusion of the iPhone 14 Plus is, of course, the most significant change here. This model replaces the “mini” size in the range and has a 6.7-inch display.

The A15 Bionic processor with a 5-core GPU powers the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, a minor boost over the iPhone 13 last year. They also offer Crash Detection, exactly like the Apple Watch.

Both versions include a redesigned internal architecture for improved thermal performance, as well as Super Retina XDR screens with OLED technology that can achieve 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness.

This year has also seen significant advancements in camera technology. Both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus includes a new 12MP main camera with a bigger sensor and larger pixels.

Apple has also included a new Photogenic Engine, which uses hardware and software to optimize low-light and mid-light performance across the board: up to 2x on the Ultra Wide camera, 2x on the TrueDepth camera, and 2.5x on the new Main camera.

The entire summary of camera upgrades:

  1. A new Main camera with a bigger /1.5 aperture and 1.9 m pixels for higher resolution and motion freezing, less noise, quicker exposure times, and sensor-shift optical picture stabilization.
  2. A new front-facing TrueDepth camera with a /1.9 aperture for improved low-light performance in images and video. For the first time, it can focus even faster in low light and record group images from a greater distance.
  3. A new Action mode provides an extraordinarily smooth-looking video that compensates for large shaking, movements, and vibrations, even when footage is shot in the middle of the action.
  4. The Ultra Wide camera, with Photonic Engine, provides a distinct viewpoint for broader views as well as enhancements to low-light photos.
  5. A 10% brighter True Tone flash with increased uniformity for more consistent illumination.
  6. Cinematic mode is now available in 4K at 30 frames per second and 4K at 24 frames per second.
  7. End-to-end Dolby Vision HDR is only available on the iPhone.
  8. As has been speculated for over two years, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus now enable satellite communication. Apple is referring to this as an expansion of the Emergency SOS feature.

Emergency SOS via satellite will be available to consumers in the United States and Canada in November, and it will be free for the first two years.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available in the following colors: midnight, blue, starlight, purple, and (PRODUCT)RED. Pre-orders begin on Friday, September 9, with iPhone 14 availability beginning on Friday, September 16, and iPhone 14 Plus availability beginning on Friday, October 7.

iPhone 14 Pro

With Apple’s Pro models, they’ve introduced some of the most important technologies such as Face ID, Super Retina display, and the most advanced camera features like sensor-shift stabilization.

We are talking about Apple’s brand-new innovative Pro lineup yet–The Apple iPhone 14 Pro & 14 Pro Max.

The most noticeable difference is the new “Dynamic Island” cutout, which replaces the notch beside the Always-On display at the top of the display.

The new pill-shaped cutout at the top is more engaging and adaptable than expected. You can find more options and controls by tapping and holding. The Dynamic Island may display album covers for content in the Music app, FaceTime controls particular background activities and more. The new Live Activities feature in iOS 16 connects with Dynamic Island, so you can view live alerts right in the new screen area.

The Dynamic Island enables new ways to interact with iPhone, featuring a design that blends the line between hardware and software, adapting in real-time to show important alerts, notifications, and activities,” Apple says.

  • The display technology of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max has also been significantly improved. The bezels have been reduced in size, and there is now a peak outdoor brightness of 2000 nits as well as HDR brightness of 1600 nits.
  • The new Always-On Display is a larger upgrade to the screen. The clock, widgets, and Live Activities are all displayed on the Always-On Display. You may also display your wallpaper in dimmer mode.
  • The iPhone 14 Pro is powered by a new A16 processor that is designed on an upgraded 4nm technology for increased efficiency and performance.
  • The camera technology on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is as good as we expected.
  • The primary camera now sports a 48MP lens with a quad-pixel sensor and an f/1.78 aperture. This quad-pixel sensor “adapts to the image being collected,” integrating four pixels into one. Apple claims that by doing so, users may capture “excellent low-light” photographs while also reducing image photo size.
  • The quad-pixel sensor also allows for a 2x Telephoto mode, which employs the sensor’s center 12 megapixels for full-resolution photographs and 4K recordings with no digital zoom. Professionals can also shoot in full 48MP resolution with the ProRAW feature.
  • The Photogenic Engine is also used in the iPhone 14 Pro models to improve low-light and mid-light performance.

Aside from the new changes, there are a few other improvements, including the first-ever upgrade for the Ultra Wide camera:

  • A new 12MP Ultra Wide camera with 1.4 µm pixels, which offers crisper photographs with greater information, increasing already powerful macro photography skills.
  • A better Telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
  • A new front-facing TrueDepth camera with a /1.9 aperture for improved low-light performance in images and video. For the first time, it can focus even faster in low light and record group images from a greater distance.
  • A rebuilt Adaptive True Tone flash with an array of nine LEDs that change pattern depending on focal length.
  • Night mode, Smart HDR 4, Portrait mode with Portrait Lighting, Night mode Portrait images, Photographic Styles to tailor the appearance of every shot, and Apple ProRAW are all powerful computational photography features.
  • A new Action mode provides an extraordinarily smooth-looking video that compensates for large shaking, movements, and vibrations, even when footage is shot in the middle of the action.
  • Cinematic mode is now available in 4K at 30 frames per second and 4K at 24 frames per second.
  • Professional video processes, including ProRes and Dolby Vision HDR from start to finish.

Of course, the iPhone 14 Pro has the previously stated Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via satellite.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro max come in four different colors: space black, deep purple, silver, and gold. The iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at $1099. Pre-orders will begin on September 9 and will be available on September 16.

Final Note!

The introduction of the all-new iPhone line-up, rebuilt AirPods Pro, and three delightful Apple Watch models have overwhelmed the minds of Apple lovers. These were our take on the Apple event of 2022. Although we don’t know what Apple might be planning for its next launch, surely it will be as fantastic as it is now and always.
